The team specializes in integrating<br>enterprise networking capabilities from global IT leaders with purpose-built hardware and software platforms designed<br>to meet market demands for the most stringent of environmental requirements.<br>We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Mechanical team in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have a strong<br>background in mechanical design, specialising in design principles processes including, sheetmetal, turned/milled,<br>injection moulded, cast and extruded parts.</div> <div class="textLayer" data-main-rotation="0"><br>Key Responsibilities</div> <div class="textLayer" data-main-rotation="0"><br>• Work within the engineering team to design rugged edge technology equipment.<br>• Primary role is enclosure design using various design principles processes including, sheetmetal, turned/milled,<br>injection moulded, cast and extruded parts.<br>• Liaise with the Hardware team on PCBA cable design<br>• Generate parts on PLM system<br>• Liaise with suppliers to get custom parts built<br>• Spec off-the-shelf components source for prototype build<br>• Product prototype assembly or disassembly, including the development of build instructions and other general product<br>development documentation<br>• Validate design through environmental testing in contracted test labs to applicable standards (MIL-810-H for example)<br>• Work through the prototype process to finalised design ready for production<br>• Define handover mechanical BOM to NPI team via PLM system<br>• General Engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product<br>• Generate and accurately maintain all product development documentation at all stages of the product lifecycle.<br>• Carry out product inspections, investigate product failures, part measurements, etc.<br>• Liaise with Production Test and Quality teams throughout the development process and support during product lifecycle.</div> <div class="textLayer" data-main-rotation="0"><br>Required Qualifications</div> <div class="textLayer" data-main-rotation="0"><br>• Degree Qualificat ...
