Systems Integration Engineer, Air Vehicles

Air Dominance and Strike Mechanical Engineers own the <strong>full development lifecycle</strong>, from concept generation, to integration and flight test, ensuring<strong> </strong>high-performance, resilient, and scalable mechanical systems that meet the demands of<strong> </strong>complex, contested environments.</p> <div class="section page-centered"> <p><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of avionics and mission systems within aircraft.</li> <li>Create and modify 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for secondary structures and system components. Large assembly model management.</li> <li>Conduct simulations and analyses to validate designs against performance requirements and regulatory standards (hand calculations and FEA).</li> <li>Build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into production</li> <li>Lead design reviews, run analysis, visit vendors, define and execute hardware test plans</li> <li>Support critical hardware demonstrations with customers as needed</li> <li>Travel to test sites as needed</li> </ul> <p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>B.S. in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience</li> <li>5+ years experience in aircraft systems integration </li> <li>Siemens NX proficiency</li> <li>Excellent communication and team skills</li> <li>Familiarity with aircraft and military standards</li> <li>Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance </li> </ul> <p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>PLM experience (Teamcenter, Windchill)</li> <li>Active Top secret DoD clearance</li> <li>Unmanned Air Vehicle design experience</li> </ul> <strong><br></strong> <p><strong> </strong></p> </div><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$129,000</span><span class="divider"></span><span>$171,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
