<p>GAQ426R237</p> <p>While candidates in the listed location(s) are encouraged for this role, candidates in other locations will be considered.</p> <h3><strong>Overview:</strong></h3> <p>Databricks is seeking a Senior Manager, Finance PMO and Operations, with a specialized focus on FPA. You will be responsible for driving organization, transformation, innovation, and operational efficiency at scale, as well as managing key programs across global Finance teams within the CFO organization and with our cross-functional stakeholders. You will interface with leadership to ensure transparency and visibility into our programs and projects.</p> <p>You will partner with teams across the Finance organization, including various FPA teams (Corporate, GTM, Product, etc.) and partners within the broader CFO org. In addition, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as IT, People, Engineering, Product, Go-to-Market, and Pricing. You will own project and program management, including OKR setting, process optimization, transformation roadmaps, and organizational management and communications on behalf of the FPA team. </p> <p>Your passion should be collaborating with FPA and other cross-functional partners to drive programs for efficiency and transformative change across the Finance organization. The ability to plan and execute effectively while collaborating across teams and locations will be key to success in this role. In this role, you will remove friction for the Finance team by developing organization-wide standards, leading programs, including communications, reporting, and metrics, optimizing processes, and driving technology improvements. You will also leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve Finance workflows and optimize our team’s work, enabling smarter decision-making, predictive insights, and scalable automation across core Finance processes.</p> <h3><strong>The impact you will have:</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>FPA Project and Program Management:</strong></li> <ul> <li>Facilitate the annual FPA goal and OKR setting process and track/drive the execution of those goals</li> <li>Streamline and own planning, intake, and prioritization processes across FPA on key priorities related to Data and AI, systems enhancements and process improvements, ensuring alignment with the Company and Finance team’s goals and strategy</li> <li>Manage multiple complex, cross-functional programs, including working with stakeholders from IT, Engineering, Sales, and other Finance teams</li> </ul> <li><strong>FPA Process Optimization:</strong></li> <ul> <li>Collaborate with FPA teams to document and evaluate existing FPA processes</li> <li>Drive end-to-end FPA process optimization and standardization, leading the re-architecting of processes as necessary ensuring success criteria and metrics are achieved, and stakeholder enablement is completed</li> <li>Partner with cross-functional and internal Finance teams to implement scalable, automated solutions leveraging our Databricks product as well as AI and machine learning tools where applicable</li> </ul> <li><strong>FPA Organizational Management and Communications:</strong></li> <ul> <li>Support the design and buildout of an FPA organization that supports Databricks’ growth</li> <li>Facilitate recurring FPA leadership meetings and FPA all-hands meetings, including creating agendas and content</li> <li>Lead executive communications and reporting to ensure transparency on project progress, risks, and outcomes</li> </ul> </ul> <h3><strong>What we look for:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field</li> <li>8+ years of experience working in or with FPA teams</li> <li>8+ years of experience leading cross-functional projects and programs with demonstrated success in process optimization and automation</li> <li>Expertise in program management, executive communications, reporting, and metrics</li> <li>Experience implementing or managing AI and automation to ...
