<p>As a pivotal member of the Total Rewards team, the Stock Plan Administrator drives the strategic integrity and operational excellence of Toast's global equity programs, a key component of our compensation strategy. This highly visible role ensures the company's equity offering scales effectively to support Toast's rapid growth while maintaining rigorous global compliance. The role acts as a critical link, collaborating closely with Accounting, Legal, and HR to manage financial risk, uphold SOX standards, and deliver a best-in-class employee experience that strengthens talent acquisition and retention. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance, acting as a cross-functional partner, and continuously scaling equity operations.</p>
<p><strong>About this </strong><strong><em>roll</em></strong><strong>* </strong>(Responsibilities)</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Drive Operational Excellence and Scalability</strong> across all aspects of Toast’s global equity program, overseeing daily administration, complex equity transactions, grants, tax withholding, and reconciliations with a focus on sustained accuracy and process improvements that support company growth.</li>
<li>Deliver an exceptional <strong>employee experience</strong>, responding to employee inquiries with clear communication to help employees understand the program and policies. Partner closely with cross-functional partners including Global Mobility and Payroll on more complex equity inquiries. </li>
<li>Partner with the Compensation and Benefits teams and 3rd party vendors to develop <strong>employee educational strategies</strong>. Provide guidance on topics (especially trending topics) that would be helpful for Toast employees, update internal resources, and assist in the delivery of employee education and communications.</li>
<li><strong>Manage Financial Reporting and Close Processes</strong> including monthly/quarterly equity close processes (termination reconciliation, payroll equity reconciliation, etc).</li>
<li><strong>Ensure Global Regulatory Compliance and Mitigate Risk</strong> by collaborating in the preparation of data for critical SEC filings, regulatory reporting (Form 4, Section 16, 13g, 10-K, 10-Q, Annual Report/Proxy, etc.,) and year-end tax forms (IRC 6039, 1099, RSS-1, ESA, ERS reporting, etc.).</li>
<li><strong>Act as a Strategic Partner</strong> to internal departments, including Payroll, Accounting, Tax, Human Resources, Global Mobility, Legal, and other internal stakeholders, to ensure seamless, timely, and complete administration of all equity processes.</li>
<li><strong>Uphold Financial Integrity and Governance</strong> by proactively maintaining full compliance with SOX controls and internal policies.</li>

<p><strong>Do you have the right </strong><strong><em>ingredients*</em></strong><strong>?</strong> (Requirements)</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field required</li>
<li>Minimum 2+ years of experience, preferably in Stock plans, equity and fidelity</li>
<li>Excellent Microsoft Excel Google Suite skills</li>
<li>Demonstrated commitment to delivering outstanding customer-service through excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization</li>
<li>Outstanding organizational critical thinking skills and commitment to maintaining accurate data and records</li>
<li>Flexible with work hours </li>
</ul>

<li>Knowledge of the Fidelity Stock Plan platform a plus</li>
<li>Experience managing a variety of stock-based compensation types, including stock options, restricted stock units, performance-based stock awards, deferred compensation, and ESPP at a publicly traded company</li>
