These teams focus on education, intervention, visibility, and action.</p> <p><strong>We focus on:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Monitoring and influencing user behavior (User Safety)</li> <li>Building efficient and scalable moderation platforms (Foundation)</li> <li>Providing transparency and education for parents and developers (User Safety)</li> <li>Giving users agency in managing their own safety (User Safety)</li> <li>Give IP owners the ability to manage their creations on Roblox (Rights Guidelines)</li> <li>Providing users fast and accurate support with the Customer Care Chatbot (Customer Care)</li> </ul> <p><strong>You will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work on implementation of machine learning solutions for safety-related systems</li> <li>Help to foster a culture of technical excellence and inclusivity</li> <li>Break down long-term product requirements into iterative deliverable stages, ensuring continuous improvement</li> <li>Craft and build large-scale machine learning models with billions of parameters, ensuring production-readiness</li> <li>Facilitate challenging technical decisions, demonstrating empathy and finding common understanding</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute on ML-based problems</li> </ul> <p><strong>You have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>MS or PhD degree + 2+ years of experience in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, or a related field. You have solid fundamentals in Computer Vision and Deep Learning.</li> <li>Experience with the full ML lifecycle, including training, deployment, and continuous monitoring.</li> <li>Experience with similarity detection and/or digital watermarking. This includes work on developing and re-training embedding models, including multi-modal models</li> <li>Strong coding skills with proficiency in one or more programming languages and experience with building large-scale systems</li> </ul> <p><strong>You are:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experienced in the <strong>safety, integrity, or content moderation domain</strong>.</li> <li>Familiar with <strong>large-scale content understanding</strong> problems (e.g., text, image, video classification).</li> <li>Experienced with cloud-based ML platforms and infrastructure.</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below.
