We're looking for talented teammates who’ll help us maintain strong teamwork and are passionate about driving results.</span></p> <p data-pm-slice="1 1 []"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><em>This role follows a hybrid work schedule and you will report to a Systems Engineer Lead.<br></em></span></p> <p data-pm-slice="1 1 []"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>You will:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Work with cross functional teams including software engineers, product managers, system safety, and operations leads to develop and implement requirements, system architecture, and verification strategy for rider safety, security, and compliance features on existing and new vehicle platforms</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Create safety analysis independently or in collaboration with System Safety to drive performance requirements for new features </span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Lead comprehensive trade studies, gathering data from relevant stakeholder to inform decisions </span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Take ownership of the solution, considering applicability to long term goals, and appropriately use engineering judgement and experience to inform paths forward</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Debug field issues to determine root cause and identify solutions with cross functional teams. Be the point person for retrospectives and implement improvements to test coverage and processes to prevent similar issues from happening in the future</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>You have:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">A bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or other technical field</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">5+ years of experience in systems engineering, software development, or related field</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">A systems engineering mindset and a proactive, data-driven approach to fixing problems</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Ability to think about the rider and an u ...
