Join us.</p> <h3>The Role</h3> <p>We're looking for a Bitcoin-focused Quantitative Market Research Principal to join Block's Customer Insights team, driving a unified understanding of bitcoin adoption, user behavior, and market dynamics across the full Block bitcoin ecosystem - Cash App, Square, Bitkey, and Proto. This role will lead high-impact research programs across the bitcoin space - translating data into insights that help guide our cross-functional teams. We are looking for someone who is agile and works in close partnership with product and marketing in an embedded way.</p> <p>You'll combine deep quantitative research expertise with domain expertise in the bitcoin space, plus bitcoin-adjacent products like Stablecoins. You'll help Block anticipate where the bitcoin ecosystem and these technologies are heading - informing decisions that advance economic access and innovation across Block's ecosystem. You'll also conduct research on both the US market and global audiences, including GTM, messaging and positioning research and will be a critical member team that is both excited and united by the mission of bitcoin.</p> <h3>You Will</h3> <ul> <li>Lead strategic Bitcoin research initiatives, uncovering trends in adoption, usage, and perception that shape product and ecosystem roadmaps.</li> <li>Design and execute large-scale quantitative studies to measure Bitcoin ownership, attitudes, and use cases across different demographics and markets.</li> <li>Develop segmentation frameworks that identify and quantify key user archetypes - from new adopters to institutional participants - to guide product and marketing strategies.</li> <li>Conduct market sizing and opportunity analysis for bitcoin-related products and stablecoins, across Block's ecosystem.</li> <li>Integrate survey, behavioral, and on-chain data to provide a holistic picture of bitcoin's role in people's financial lives.</li> <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with partners across Cash App, Square, Bitkey, and Proto to align insights with business and technical priorities.</li> <li>Develop measurement frameworks for bitcoin brand tracking and conduct primary research and frameworks for GTM, messaging and positioning.</li> <li>Use AI and automation tools to accelerate research workflows - including insight synthesis, text summarization, and trend detection across unstructured data sources.</li> <li>Present insights and forecasts to senior leaders, connecting global bitcoin and crypto trends to actionable strategic recommendations.</li> </ul> <h3>You Have</h3> <ul> <li>10+ years of experience in quantitative market research, analytics, or strategic insights - ideally with exposure to bitcoin or other crypto ecosystems.</li> <li>Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects, navigating ambiguity, and delivering insights that shape strategic decisions.
