We believe good ideas can come from anywhere, and we'll rely on you to work with others, form intelligent opinions, and present your thoughts to decision-makers and company executives.</p> <p>Reporting to the International Lead for Finance and Strategy, this role will be based in London, UK with hybrid work opportunities.</p> <p><strong>You Will</strong></p> <ul> <li>Report the financial planning process for important products and teams; including building/maintaining and reviewing operating and financial models.</li> <li>Be the primary Finance Business Partner (FBP) with key teams within our Square organization and collaborate across all levels and departments in the organization</li> <li>Support strategic decisions, including projects on pricing design, customer behavior analysis and economics, LTV / Return on investment of marketing efforts, market/competitive landscape benchmarking, and other data-driven analysis</li> <li>Create and/or review analyses that facilitates clear decision-making, mine data from our databases to predict short-term and long-term trends</li> <li>Evaluate our performance; report the performance; identify any risks or opportunities associated with reported financial data</li> <li>Partner with our Go-to-Market teams (Sales, Marketing, Partnerships etc) on strategy and execution with the aim of increasing the size and efficiency of our acquisition motions.</li> <li>Partner with the International Accounting team on transactional and financial close matters to ensure accuracy over financial statement reporting</li> <li>Partner with departments (e.g. Accounting, Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, Sales and Marketing, and others) to report on the financial impact of decisions across the company</li> <li>Prepare analysis and support communication to product leaders, board members and executive staff</li> </ul> <p><strong>You Have</strong></p> <ul> <li>8+ years post qualified and relevant industry experience</li> <li>A finance qualification or relevant working experience within strategy finance</li> <li>Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills</li> <li>Proven ability to lead strategic projects and make data-driven recommendations</li> <li>Proactively develop and implement financial strategies to support the growth plans</li> <li>Ability to multitask, prioritize, and ...
