<h3>The Role</h3>
<p>Block's Financial Platform organization is responsible for building systems that power Cash App and Square. The organization owns key financial infrastructure enabling both to operate at scale. Key to the organisation's success is the Bank Rails team. The team build and maintain Cash App's Banking Rails and payment processing systems</p>
<p>This is a role with opportunity - you'll get to drive forward the future of Cash App, working as part of an engineering team to solve high impact problems. We strive to build innovative and valuable solutions by growing diverse teams of people who care about what they do.</p>
<h3>You Will</h3>
<ul>
<li>Work closely with engineers in your team and partner teams to problem solve, plan, design, and build solutions</li>
<li>Work on new software and maintain existing software</li>
<li>Work as part of a global team with teammates in Asia, USA and Europe</li>
<li>Hold yourself to high engineering standards</li>
<li>Demonstrate ownership - owning solutions end-to-end</li>
<li>Be willing to learn about and drive improvements to the systems we own</li>
<li>Value operational excellence</li>
</ul>
<h3>You Have</h3>
<ul>
<li>4+ years of software development or equivalent experience</li>
<li>1+ year of experience leading features</li>
<li>The ability own design and build creative solutions to complex problems</li>
<li>A strong desire to perform and grow as an engineer</li>
<li>Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience</li>
</ul>
