Full-Stack Engineer, Cards Success

<h3><strong>About the Role</strong></h3> <p>The Cards Success Team is hiring a full-stack engineer to empower the foundational areas of cards. You’ll contribute to projects that span member engagement and core card capabilities that power all products involving cards. This role has many touchpoints with other engineering teams, product, design, and member experience, and many more cross-functional partners. With this in mind, you'll have opportunities working on both mobile and backend components.</p> <p>The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $133,000 and up to $184,00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience. </p> <h3><strong>In this role, you can expect to</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Design, develop, test, refactor and scale backend implementations of new and existing consumer product features</li> <li>Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand member struggles and come up with creative solutions</li> <li>Proactively find opportunities for improving the reliability and scalability of our systems</li> <li>Work across the engineering team to improve and uphold high technical standards</li> </ul> <h3><strong>To thrive in this role, you have </strong></h3> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in software engineering</li> <li>Comfort working across the stack and an eagerness to learn new technologiesExperience designing APIs and working with transactional databases and caching systemsA product mindset with a strong bias toward experimentation, iteration, and measuring impactExposure to large-scale architecture patterns and an appreciation for clean, maintainable codeA collaborative spirit and strong communication skills, with experience working cross-functionally</li> <li>Experience working in a fast-paced, product-focused environment (Fintech experience is a plus)</li> </ul> <p>#LI-Hybrid #LI-GC1</p><div class="content-conclusion"><h2><strong>A little about us</strong></h2> <p>At Chime, we believe that everyone can achieve financial progress.
