<p>We’re seeking a creative and collaborative social expert to support Executive and Corporate Communications to advance awareness of and foster conversation around the unique benefits and proximity to culture that staying on Airbnb offers. The Social Lead will be responsible for developing and overseeing social programming related to Executive and Corporate Communications.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate is curious, engaged, strategic, positive, and detail- and solution-oriented. The world and thus our industry is always changing, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable with and excited by pivoting, experimenting and innovating as applicable as priorities and social platforms evolve.</p>
<p><strong>A typical day:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Shooting, editing and publishing content on social media </li>
<li>Responsible for developing and overseeing high visibility, high impact social strategies to achieve Executive and Corporate Communications goals across TikTok, Instagram and Twitter/X</li>
<li>Partners with key stakeholders to design and deliver social-forward programming rooted in pop culture </li>
<li>Informs global brand and partner social content direction, capture and copy; manages internal approvals; and leads cross-channel brand engagement strategies </li>
<li>Analyzes managed social campaign results, applying learnings in real time to strengthen performance</li>
<li>Personally shoot, produce, and edit video and photo content for social media channels. - Experience shooting and editing content is essential. </li>
<li>Lead creative brainstorming sessions and collaborate with internal stakeholders and support teams</li>
<li>Move quickly and efficiently to spot and ideate around real-time social opportunities </li>
<li>Play a pivotal role in identifying trends, opportunities, and social conversations, leveraging insights to execute timely strategies.</li>
<li>Provide expert consultation on social strategies, offering best practices and ensuring alignment with global strategies and campaigns</li>
<li>Stay ahead of industry advancements and integrate innovative technologies and tools into social management processes</li>
<li>Move quickly to spot social trends and opportunities on priority platforms and identify and execute opportunities that drive positive conversation</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Your expertise:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>8-10 years experience in social media</li>
<li>Deep knowledge and expertise in building and executing creative and innovative social strategies across Instagram, TikTok and Twitter/ X</li>
<li>Experience in crafting and leading social media strategies in the celebrity, entertainment, and film spaces</li>
<li>Excellent writing and verbal communication skills </li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail</li>
<li>A passion for pop culture and trends</li>
<li>Experience working with and managing multiple stakeholders </li>
<li>Working knowledge and familiarity with social listening and measurement tools like Sprinklr</li>
