<p><strong>This is a fully on-site position, Monday through Friday, at our corporate HQ in Tempe, Arizona.</strong></p>
<p><strong>About the team and position</strong></p>
<p>As a Technical Recruiter, you will have the unique opportunity to build, develop, and execute full life-cycle talent acquisition for Carvana’s Technology teams. You will act as a direct extension of our hiring leaders and serve as the primary touchpoint for candidates from initial outreach through the offer stage, ensuring a stellar candidate experience. Most importantly, you will see your insights have an immediate, tangible impact every day in our unique, exciting, and talent-driven company.</p>
<p><strong>What you’ll be doing</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Perform full-cycle recruiting for a variety of skilled engineering and/or corporate roles.</li>
<li>Think outside the box and leverage your experience and creativity to match the right candidates to the right careers.</li>
<li>Develop effective and proactive candidate pipelines using both standard and creative sourcing strategies, social networking, and relationship building. </li>
<li>Develop a solid understanding of assigned roles and requirements (skills, experience, education, competencies, industry-specific applications, etc.), and effectively assess candidate qualifications to influence hiring decisions.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain strong business partnerships with hiring teams and leaders at various levels, keeping them engaged from in-take conversation to new hire start date.</li>
<li>Constantly identify new ways to improve all things recruiting - including the candidate experience, interview practices, funnel-building, reporting, quality of hire, hiring manager experience, and more.</li>
<li>Represent Carvana and applicable hiring teams at hiring events as needed.</li>
<li>Effectively manage priorities and deadlines to meet hiring needs of supported teams.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What you should have/know</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>3+ years of talent acquisition experience (full-cycle recruiting), preferably a mix of agency and in-house.</li>
<li>Experience with virtual recruitment (social media, LinkedIn, resume sourcing).</li>
<li>Experience working with an ATS, preferably Greenhouse.</li>
<li>Exceptional interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.</li>
<li>Aptitude for technical terminology and concepts.</li>
<li>Experience supporting technical roles, preferably requirements in ML and/or AI.</li>
<li>Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing deep market intelligence to inform your negotiation strategies.</li>
<li>Ability to operate with a sense of urgency without sacrificing accuracy.</li>
<li>Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.</li>
<li>Comfortable with change and can easily adapt.</li>
