You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations with these partners, including overseeing data sharing, audits, compliance with contractual obligations, and internal product development geared towards assisting carrier partners. </span></p> <p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Accordingly, we seek a highly talented individual with deep insurance and reinsurance experience who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Candidates should be able to operate with minimal oversight to drive execution across our capacity strategy.</span></p> <h4><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Responsibilities</span></h4> <ul> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Oversee day-to-day operations with Coalition’s insurance and reinsurance carrier partners</span></li> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Ensure seamless communication and data sharing with external carrier partners</span></li> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Manage annual audits with all carrier partners, and project manage implementation of any audit recommendations internally</span></li> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Review contract wording with carrier partners, and ensure compliance with carrier contracts and guidelines</span></li> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Direct internal product development needs to support carrier partners better</span></li> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Effectively collaborate and communicate carrier-driven needs and requirements with cross-functional teams (underwriting, claims, operations, product, engineering, etc.)</span></li> </ul> <h4><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Skills and Qualifications</span></h4> <ul> <li><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">5+ years of operational experience at an insurance carrier or MGA, and/or experience managing capacity relationships and operations at a reinsurance broker</span></li> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to formulate and articulate contractual, technical, financial, and operational needs with partners and internal teams</span></li> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Strong attention to detail and analytical skills</span></li> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Self-directed and self-motivated; excellent communicator and collaborator</span></li> </ul> <h4>Compensation</h4> <p>As a remote-first organization, our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several Canadian geographic markets. </p> <p>In Alberta, British Columbia Ontario the base salary for this position ranges from $120,000/year up to $150,000/year. </p> <p>For all other locations, the base salary for this position ranges from $108,000/year up to $135,000/year.</p> <p>Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors, which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowle ...
