From fulfilling a single patient’s request for their medical records to powering the AI revolution in healthcare, Datavanters are building the future of how data is connected and used to improve health. <br><br>By joining Datavant today, you’re stepping onto a driven and highly collaborative team that is passionate about creating transformative change in healthcare.</p></div><p><strong>Position Highlights</strong></p> <p>📍 <strong>Camden, NJ</strong><br>🕒 <strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM EST<br>🚨 <strong>Priority:</strong> High</p> <p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a <strong>highly motivated Area Health Information Specialist II</strong> to provide <strong>full onsite Release of Information (ROI) support.</strong> This is a critical, high-priority role supporting patient services, ROI processing, and coverage across multiple client locations as needed.</p> <p>This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, compassionate with patients, and comfortable working in fast-paced healthcare environments.</p> <p><strong>💼 Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>This role provides <strong>full-service ROI support</strong>, including but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Onsite ROI processing and medical record request fulfillment</li> <li>Assisting walk-in patients with record requests and disclosures</li> <li>Burning patient records to CDs and managing image requests</li> <li>Scanning, faxing, and handling inbound/outbound ROI workflows</li> <li>Call support for patients, providers, attorneys, and requestors</li> <li>Data entry, email correspondence, and administrative support</li> <li>Monitoring fax queues, inboxes, and shared drives</li> <li>Supporting coverage at other client locations as assigned</li> <li>Traveling between client locations as needed for coverage</li> <li>Collaborating closely with team members and client staff</li> <li>Performing additional duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>🚗 Travel Coverage Expectations</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Potential weekly travel</strong>, based on operational needs</li> <li>Candidate will be stationed daily at a <strong>designated home site</strong></li> <li>May be assigned to support <strong>one of five full-service ROI client sites</strong></li> <li>Supports <strong>10 total sites</strong>:</li> <ul> <li>5 full-service onsite ROI locations</li> <li>5 additional sites serviced remotely from staffed locations</li> </ul> <li>All locations are <strong>cubicle-based environments</strong> shared with client staff</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>🎯 Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Prior healthcare, HIM, or ROI experience preferred</li> <li>Ability to work fully onsite</li> <li>Willingness to travel locally as coverage needs arise</li> <li>Proficiency with computers, email, and office equipment</li> <li>Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p><span data-sheets-root="1">Pay ranges for this job title may differ based on location, responsibilities, skills, experience, and other requirements of the role. </span></p></div><div class="title">The estimated base pay range per hour for this role is:</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$16.73</span><span class="divider"></span><span>$21.43 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-sheets-root="1">To ensure the safety of patients and staff, many of our clients require post-offer health screenings an ...
