This is a <strong>fully on-site, traveling role</strong> that requires regular presence at assigned facilities to ensure operational continuity, staff support, and client satisfaction.</p> <p>This role is ideal for a dependable, hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced healthcare environments, is comfortable traveling locally between sites, and can step in to provide leadership, coverage, and guidance as needed.</p> <p>The Area Lead serves as a key liaison between client sites, HIM/ROI staff, and internal leadership, while maintaining high standards of compliance, productivity, and service delivery.</p> <p><strong>💼 What You’ll Do</strong></p> <p>The Area Lead plays a critical role in supporting daily ROI operations while serving as a leader, mentor, and point of escalation for staff and clients. Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Provide consistent <strong>on-site coverage</strong> at assigned facilities based on operational needs</li> <li>Support ROI operations across Baltimore and Montgomery County sites, including hospitals and clinics</li> <li>Serve as a primary point of contact between client stakeholders and internal leadership</li> <li>Assist with onboarding, training, mentoring, and workflow support for HIS staff</li> <li>Communicate staffing needs, coverage gaps, volume changes, and site challenges proactively</li> <li>Support productivity, quality, and service improvement initiatives</li> <li>Accurately process medical record and ROI requests while maintaining strict confidentiality</li> <li>Manage high-volume inbound and outbound calls from patients, providers, and authorized requestors</li> <li>Handle fax, mail, and electronic ROI workflows, including logging and tracking requests</li> <li>Review, date-stamp, and upload requests into HealthSource</li> <li>Monitor fax queues, shared drives, and email inboxes to ensure timely processing</li> <li>Create encrypted CDs/DVDs and maintain proper documentation</li> <li>Assist walk-in patients by verifying identity and processing disclosures</li> <li>Monitor and complete patient transfers throughout the workday</li> <li>Ensure full compliance with HIPAA, privacy regulations, and client-specific policies</li> <li>Maintain working knowledge of site-specific workflows and systems</li> <li>Support continuity of coverage and minimize operational risk across all assigned sites</li> </ul> <p><strong>⭐ What We’re Looking For</strong></p> <p>We’re seeking someone who is:</p> <ul> <li>Motivated to lead and grow in an Area Lead role</li> <li>Professional, dependable, and service-oriented</li> <li>Reliable and punctual — attendance is critical</li ...
