This leader will oversee the execution of sales strategies across the portfolio of real-world evidence (RWE) solutions, analytics platforms, and services. The ideal candidate will combine strategic sales leadership with a deep understanding of biopharma customer needs, ensuring the team consistently meets revenue goals while delivering exceptional client value. This role will partner closely with Managing Partners across key accounts for co-selling, account planning, and evidence strategy alignment. This role requires a balance of hands-on sales management, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision-making to expand Datavant’s impact within life sciences.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities of the Role</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Lead and Manage Sales Team: </strong>Recruit, coach, and mentor a team of RWE Sales Specialists focused on Datavant’s biopharma customers.</li> <li><strong>Drive Revenue Growth: </strong>Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets across assigned accounts.</li> <li><strong>Full Product Ownership: </strong>Ensure the team effectively positions and sells Datavant’s RWE product portfolio — including solutions, analytics platforms, and services. </li> <li><strong>Account Leadership:</strong> Collaborate account planning and execution for top biopharma clients with Client Partners, ensuring alignment with customer priorities and Datavant’s strategic objectives.</li> <li><strong>Pipeline Management: </strong>Monitor and manage sales pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and deal velocity using CRM and analytics tools.</li> <li><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration: </strong>Partner with Marketing, Product, Solutions, and Delivery teams to ensure cohesive go-to-market execution and customer success.</li> <li><strong>Market Strategy: </strong>Stay informed on market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback to guide team strategy and product positioning.</li> <li><strong>Executive Engagement:</strong> Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, representing Datavant as a trusted strategic partner.</li> <li><strong>Performance Management:</strong> Establish clear goals, KPIs, and development plans for each team member to ensure continuous improvement and accountability.</li> <li><strong>Operational Excellence: </strong>Streamline sales processes, tools, and reporting to improve efficiency and team effectiveness.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications of the Role</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Experience: </strong>10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, with at least 3–5 years in sales leadership roles within healthcare, life sciences, or SaaS.</li> <li><strong>RWE Expertise: </strong>Deep understanding of real-world data sources, evidence generation methodologies, and use cases across the product lifecycle — from clinical development to commercialization.</li> <li><strong>Hunter Mentality: </strong>Skilled at identifying, developing, and closing new RWE-focused opportunities with top biopharma clients.</li> </ul> <p>#LI-BC1</p><d ...
