You will work closely with engineering, product, and infrastructure leaders to drive clarity, alignment, and delivery across strategic initiatives. This role reports to the VP, AI/ML and PaaS and plays a key part in shaping the scalability, reliability, and innovation of DigitalOcean’s core products and services.</p> <h2><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical programs across engineering, product, and operations teams.</li> <li>Partner with engineering and product leadership to define program scope, objectives, timelines, and success metrics.</li> <li>Facilitate cross-team communication and ensure alignment on priorities, dependencies, and trade-offs.</li> <li>Identify and mitigate program risks, resolve issues, and escalate blockers to maintain program velocity.</li> <li>Implement and refine program management best practices, tools, and frameworks for greater efficiency and transparency.</li> <li>Track and communicate program progress, ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility into timelines, outcomes, and risks.</li> <li>Champion continuous improvement and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration across technical teams.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Key Metrics: (optional)</strong></h2> <ul> <li>On-time delivery rate for critical initiatives</li> <li>Program health and stakeholder satisfaction scores</li> <li>Reduction in delivery risk or technical debt</li> <li>Improvement in cross-team collaboration efficiency</li> <li>Achievement of quarterly strategic objectives</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What You’ll Add to DigitalOcean:</strong></h2> <ul> <li><strong>Experience:</strong> 5+ years of technical program or project management experience within software, cloud, or infrastructure engineering environments.</li> <li><strong>Technical Understanding:</strong> Strong foundational knowledge of distributed systems, SaaS, or cloud infrastructure.
