Responsibilities include reviewing estate and divorce documents to identify beneficiaries, allocation percentages, and division of assets while ensuring industry regulations and internal policies are compliant. This role also requires providing subject matter expertise and leadership to other departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Probate process, QDRO filings and Retirement beneficiary rules. <strong>Please note that this is a hybrid role, based in Dallas. Our in-person days are Tuesday through Thursday.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Your impact</strong></span></p> <p><strong>Process Internal Journals Requests due to death or divorce:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Review estate and divorce documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.</li> <li>Verify that all required documentation is provided and meets regulatory standards.</li> <li>Journal assets internally from one Altruist account to another. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Regulatory Compliance:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure all documents comply with state and federal guidelines. </li> <li>Stay updated on changes in regulatory policies and adjust procedures accordingly.</li> <li>Consult with compliance and legal departments to address any regulatory issues.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Team Leadership and Training:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide guidance and support to the new accounts team.</li> <li>Conduct training sessions to ensure the team is knowledgeable about regulatory requirements and internal procedures.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Client Communication:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Address client inquiries and issues related to estate and divorce topics in a timely and professional manner.</li> <li>Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex account issues.</li> <li>Maintain high standards of customer service and client confidentiality.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Process Improvement:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the new account opening process.</li> <li>Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the new acco ...
