<p>Hazel is building the AI engine for wealth management that helps unlock 10x growth, efficiency and value for financial advisors and their clients in a regulated industry. Since its launch last September, Hazel has organically and rapidly grown its user base.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>The opportunity</strong></span></span></p>
<p>Hazel needs a player/coach sales leader who has done this before: build rigor, coach AEs, establish operating cadence, and turn early traction into a scalable revenue engine. This is not a “strategy-only” leadership role; you will be in the field, in the deals, and in the details. You will be responsible for leading:</p>
<ul>
<li>AE pods targeting different customer segments</li>
<li>Tight integration with PLG signals and marketing demand</li>
<li>Strong narrative and playbook to sell in a competitive AI market</li>
</ul>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>What you'll do</strong></span></p>
<p><strong>Build the sales operating system</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Define and run the weekly cadence: pipeline reviews, deal reviews, forecasting, inspection</li>
<li>Establish stage definitions, exit criteria, and a qualification framework that’s simple and enforceable</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Lead the team</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Hire, onboard, coach, and performance-manage the first AEs</li>
<li>Build a high-output culture with clear standards on discovery quality, deal strategy, objection handling, and urgency creation</li>
<li>Be hands-on in key deals (when to engage execs, negotiate in larger deals)</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Partner cross-functionally</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Codify the PLG → Sales handoff: what signals trigger sales involvement; SLAs; routing rules</li>
<li>Partner with Marketing on demand strategy, funnel diagnostics, and proof points </li>
<li>Partner with Product on structured field feedback loops and prioritizing features that unblock sales (compliance, admin workflows, provisioning)</li>
<li>Build and operationalize a cross-sell/referral motion with the Altruist GTM/Sales team</li>
