The team is heavily involved in utilizing computer vision, perception, electro-optical, infrared, and sensor data to give our war fighters and allies an advantage.</p> <h3 id="CameraTestEngineer-ABOUTTHEJOB">ABOUT THE JOB</h3> <p>As a Camera Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring our systems meet stringent quality standards, contributing to the consistent delivery of high-quality products to our customers. This role requires creative problem-solving to address challenging testing issues and a drive to continuously improve our automation methods, throughput, user interfaces, and data analytics. We are looking for someone with an eagerness to learn and adapt within fast-paced, highly technical, and interdisciplinary teams. Excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating across teams to quickly and effectively resolve production issues.</p> <h4 id="CameraTestEngineer-WHATYOU'LLDO">WHAT YOU'LL DO</h4> <ul> <li data-uuid="0adc63db-a082-4f46-b1fe-aa0990e8a28c">Support and optimize production test activities, including hands-on troubleshooting of complex infrared systems and maintaining test equipment for precision and reliability.</li> <li data-uuid="93da5552-2afb-4f87-a6a5-0cbf29eff8fb">Develop and maintain software for test automation, data analytics, and report generation.</li> <li data-uuid="93ae2208-1bec-4a2f-8d41-42f65df0d795">Conduct root cause analysis of product failures, develop troubleshooting guides, and collaborate with engineering teams on corrective actions and failure analysis.</li> <li data-uuid="a95bacf9-2fce-4bde-ba64-0eb9010006c9">Generate clear test work instructions for technicians and provide training on equipment usage.</li> <li data-uuid="f0b3187c-74ee-432c-9292-080f9ed0ba66">Analyze test data, document findings, and generate detailed reports to identify defects, provide feedback for product enhancements, and support continuous improvement initiatives.</li> <li data-uuid="4146b188-736e-40c5-8f93-ec3919c21f25">Contribute feedback to early-stage test design for new product introduction (NPI) processes.</li> </ul> <h4 id="CameraTestEngineer-REQUIREDQUALIFICATIONS">REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul> <li data-uuid="d6ed9f35-1e5d-4bf1-b835-4975bf9087d5">Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.</li> <li data-uuid="2c66f1d6-2b2d-45ff-b4d5-4490efe85236">Experience or coursework involving data acquisition and processing with tools like MATLAB, Python, or other programming languages.</li> <li data-uuid="8c5b7ab6-35c9-4c02-bf3a-d82ba37f61a0">Familiarity with test automation and report generation concepts.</li> <li data-uuid="b0b154cb-2f23-4f11-8a82-d59e89b10917">Foundational understanding of root cause analysis principles for hardware, software, and firmware, with a desire to develop these skills further.</li> <li data-uuid="733780dc-cdb8-43b6-bdbd-f5d86029473e">Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication s ...
