<p>In this role, you will support the Altius business line by contributing your technical expertise and fostering strategic collaboration across various hardware and software development teams. As a valued member of our team, you will play an integral role in developing and testing innovative solutions designed to address real-world challenges. This position underscores the importance of an iterative approach to our operations - design, test, field, and refine - thereby driving continuous improvement of our systems and services.</p>
<p>If you are someone who has hands-on experience throughout the entire new product development life cycle from concept to customer delivery, loves to build world-class product reliability, work with many multi-disciplinary teams, and be accountable for results, then this role is for you.</p>
<p><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Own various approaches to achieve product development goals through end-to-end product testing and operating procedural definition.</li>
<li>Interface with internal operations and product teams to identify and solve system or product reliability issues.</li>
<li>Conduct end-to-end testing to establish robust QA matrices for our products.</li>
<li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes and efficiency.</li>
<li>Formulate and refine operational procedures and workflows.</li>
<li>Train colleagues on the procedures and workflows developed for new engineering capabilities.</li>
<li>Provide valuable feedback to engineering teams to improve product functionality.</li>
<li>Lead new project initiatives, focusing on product operations and user maintenance planning.</li>
<li>Architect and implement cutting-edge sustainment strategies for advanced defense systems.</li>
<li>Spearhead the development of comprehensive lifecycle support plans for Anduril's innovative products.</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product design for long-term supportability.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Strong aptitude for problem solving in unstructured situations at the interface of hardware, software, and networking. Ability to drive challenging and vague technical problems to clarity and resolution.</li>
<li>Experience working on advanced hardware systems.</li>
<li>Familiarity with government testing protocols, compliance, and regulations.</li>
<li>Experience with Aircraft Reliability Engineering.</li>
<li>Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.</li>
<li>Ability to travel as required for planning and testing (30%).</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Technical writing experience developing standards, specifications, user guides, and policies.</li>
<li>Proficiency in CAD software and product lifecycle management tools.</li>
<li>Aircraft, spacecraft, or UAV operations experience.</li>
<li>Training experience.</li>
<li>Minimum of 3 years industry experience. </li>
<li>Prior military or government agency exposure / experience.</li>
</ul>
