Job Description

Who We Are

Nuro is a self-driving technology company on a mission to make autonomy accessible to all. Founded in 2016, Nuro is building the world’s most scalable driver, combining cutting-edge AI with automotive-grade hardware. Nuro licenses its core technology, the Nuro Driver™, to support a wide range of applications, from robotaxis and commercial fleets to personally owned vehicles. With technology proven over years of self-driving deployments, Nuro gives the automakers and mobility platforms a clear path to AVs at commercial scale, empowering a safer, richer, and more connected future.

About the Role

We are seeking a Chief of Staff to partner with the VP of Vehicle Platform Hardware and the broader Technology Group leadership team. This is a highly strategic and operational role that sits at the intersection of advanced engineering, manufacturing, and business operations. The organization develops custom vehicle integrations for Nuro’s advanced compute and sensor stack, ensuring that platforms are production-ready for autonomy, spanning manufacturing, GSM, production, sensor, electrical, and mechanical engineering.

This role requires someone who can navigate seamlessly between engineering detail and strategic context, understanding the “why” behind decisions, ensuring execution on the “how,” and maintaining alignment across internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate brings a structured, problem-solving mindset, thrives in ambiguous environments, and excels at translating complex goals into clear, actionable plans.
