<p>As a Senior EHS Specialist at ASM, you’ll play a critical role in shaping a culture of safety and sustainability at the forefront of semiconductor innovation. Your expertise will ensure compliance, reduce risk, and help protect the people and processes that power next-gen technology. Working closely with our global EHS team, you’ll align local programs with international standards while driving continuous improvement across our Singapore operations.</p>
<p><strong>What you will be working on</strong></p>
<p><strong>EHS Program Development and Implementation:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures in line with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards</li>
<li>Set clear EHS expectations, drive accountability, and ensure compliance with all relevant EHS regulations and standards.</li>
<li>Partner with the global EHS team to align local programs with corporate EHS initiatives and management systems.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Regulatory Compliance and Stakeholder Engagement:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Interpret and implement compliance with legal requirements, Singapore Standards, Codes of Practice, and other relevant regulations.</li>
<li>Liaise with local authorities on EHS matters, including license renewals, and represent the company in relevant meetings.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Risk Assessment and Hazard Control:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety and environmental risks.</li>
<li>Implement risk mitigation strategies and control measures to minimize hazards.</li>
<li>Lead Management of Change (MOC) processes to assess and control EHS risks associated with changes in processes, equipment, or operations.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Investigate accidents, dangerous occurrences, and occupational diseases.</li>
<li>Determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Training and Development:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and deliver engaging EHS training programs to employees and contractors, ensuring awareness and compliance.</li>
<li>Maintain records of training sessions and monitor the effectiveness of training programs.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Audit and Inspection:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to ensure conformance to company and customer safety requirements, policies, and procedures.</li>
<li>Manage non-conformance investigations and ensure timely closure of identified gaps.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Emergency Response and Business Continuity Planning:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop, maintain, and periodically test emergency response plans, including organizing and conducting CERT audits and emergency drills.</li>
<li>Participate as a key member of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) team, ensuring the plan is up-to-date and supporting the coordination of annual BCP tabletop exercises.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong> Contractor Management:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Oversee contractor activities during in-house and shutdown maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with EHS standards.</li>
