Join us.</span></p></div><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong><span data-contrast="none">About the Team: </span></strong></span></p> <p>As an Electrical Engineer within the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team, you will be at the forefront of creating a world-class manufacturing site at our Long Beach facilities. This role requires balancing technical design reviews of medium to high voltage assets and systems with on-site engagement with key cross-functional stakeholders. This role will be initially focused on understanding operational processes and identifying hazards to develop and implement effective electrical safety programs. The Electrical Engineer will collaborate closely with manufacturing engineers, production, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure safe execution of medium to high voltage manufacturing and testing operations. This includes conducting risk assessments and incident investigations, and developing procedures tailored to high voltage environments, to foster a culture of electrical safety and compliance across our Long Beach sites.</p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong><span data-contrast="none">About the Role:</span></strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Actively participate and provide actionable recommendations during design and test readiness reviews with engineering and operations stakeholders: <ul> <li>Develop and review electrical distribution design, hazard classification, load balancing, single-line diagrams, design documentation.</li> <li>Conduct short circuit analysis, arc flash and breaker coordination studies, motor starting analysis.</li> <li>Conduct electrical safety reviews of DC high voltage system hardware and process designs and provide safety requirements and recommendations to stakeholders.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Serve as the primary electrical engineer embedded with engineering, operations and EHS teams on electrical safety. This includes acting as an electrical safety authority to review Electrical Hazard Analyses (EHAs) and approve Work Permits.</li> <li>Cross-functionally develop and implement risk reduction strategies to minimize incidents and ensure a safe working environment and safe project execution.</li> <li>Monitor and implement compliance with applicable electrical safety regulations, industry standards, and internal company policies.</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-fami ...
