We help global teams design, manage, and scale benefits that actually work for their people by using AI, across flex allowances, benefits, insurance, recognition, and wellbeing, all in one intelligent platform.We partner with fast-growing and enterprise organisations to replace fragmented benefits stacks with a single, flexible system that works globally, adapts locally, and puts employees first.Your missionAs a Senior Benefits Broker at Happl, your mission is to design, place, and advise on high-quality employee benefits and insurance solutions for modern, growing organisations.You’ll act as a trusted advisor to HR, Finance, and leadership teams, helping them navigate complex benefits decisions across health, risk, and wellbeing—while working closely with our product and commercial teams to deliver these benefits through Happl’s platform.This role is for someone who combines deep technical benefits expertise with strong client management skills, enjoys ownership, and wants to help redefine how benefits are delivered in a technology-led environment.The roleThis role sits within our Commercial team and works closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and external insurers and providers.You’ll help shape Happl’s benefits and insurance offering by focusing on:Benefits and insurance brokerage and strategy across health and riskClient advisory and relationship managementScheme design, placement, and renewal managementInsurer and provider negotiationsEnsuring regulatory, technical, and market best practiceSupporting the integration of brokered benefits into Happl’s platformYou’ll play a key role in scaling Happl’s advisory capability as our customer base and complexity grow.What you’ll be doingActing as lead advisor on employee benefits and group risk schemesDesigning and placing benefits including PMI, Dental, Cash Plans, Life Assurance, Income Protection, and Critical IllnessManaging renewals, market reviews, and insurer negotiations end to endProducing clear, compliant benefit reports and recommendations for clientsSupporting clients with benefit strategy, cost control, and market insightsWorking closely with Sales to support new business opportunities and pitchesPartnering with Product and Customer teams to ensure benefits are delivered seamlessly through the Happl platformMaintaining strong insurer and provider relationshipsStaying up to date with market developments, regulation, and product innovationUsing technology and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, insight, and client experienceContributing to the development of Happl’s long-term benefits and brokerage strategyWhat we’re looking forIF7 (Health & Protection) – RequiredGR1 (Group Risk) – RequiredProven experience in an employee benefits or group risk brokerage roleStrong technical knowledge across health and protection benefitsExperience advising mid-market and/or enterprise clientsConfidence managing renewals, market reviews, and insurer negotiationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsCommercially minded with the ability to balance client outcomes and business goalsComfortable working in a fast-moving, high-growth environmentProactive, detail-oriented, and confident taking ownershipInterest in technology-led delivery and modern benefits platformsIf you don’t meet every requirement but feel this role fits your trajectory, we’d still love to hear from you.Why join HapplHelp shape the future of employee benefitsCompetitive base salary and commissionMeaningful equity in an early stage growing businessFlexible hybrid working from day oneAccess to your own Happl benefits platformOptional enrolment in Private Health InsuranceOptional enrolment in Dental insurance, including family coverA flexible Wellbeing budget to spend on whatever wellbeing means to youLearning & Development (L&D) allowancePension scheme from day oneRapid career progression in a scaling commercial teamA genu ...
