<p>Fastly is looking for individuals who are passionate about an extraordinary work environment and are motivated to exceed expectations and advance their career in B2B software sales. Your efforts directly contribute to Fastly’s top-line revenue growth. As a Sales Development Representative, you are responsible for uncovering, sourcing, nurturing, and developing sales leads into qualified opportunities from key accounts that will close and add to Fastly’s growing customer base. You are focused on identifying opportunities and building relationships with prospects and leveraging your experience to make an impact.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate loves the thrill of the hunt, is motivated by a career in tech sales; a self-starter, driven, curious, and eager to learn.</p>
<p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Research and identify potential clients and key decision makers to develop targeted prospect lists. </li>
<li>Conduct outbound prospecting activities including cold calling, emailing leveraging LinkedIn to generate new business leads. </li>
<li>Utilise lead generation tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, Outreach, Cognism and 6sense.</li>
<li>Act as a collaborative strategic partner to Account Executives, Account Managers, Sales Engineers and Marketing. </li>
<li>Exceed specific monthly, quarterly, and yearly pipeline metrics to help achieve sales goals.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><br></strong><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Native level proficiency in German, additional languages are a plus. </li>
<li>Ability to thrive in a metrics-driven culture.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and engage prospects. </li>
<li>Understands customer requirements and identifies business challenges that Fastly can solve.</li>
<li>Demonstrates a desire to learn and improve.</li>
<li>Curious by nature - Not afraid to ask for help.</li>
<li>Adaptable, professional, courteous, and motivated with a strong work ethic.</li>
<li>Can get things done despite obstacles or challenges.</li>
<li>Ability to proactively resolve problems in a timely manner; develop alternative solutions.</li>
<li>Have a desire to work hard, exceed expectations, and outperform their quotas.</li>
<li>Experience as an SDR/ BDR or in a sales or lead generation role.</li>

<p><strong>Work Location(s) Travel Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>This position will require you to be available during core business hours, 9:00am - 6:00pm GMT with 1 hour break for lunch, Monday to Friday.</li>
<li>This position is required to be in our London office three days per week - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.</li>
</ul>
<p>This position will require travel as required by your role or requested by your manager.</p>
