<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The Payroll Manager leads and oversees the end-to-end payroll process for the organization (approximately 1,200 employees). This position ensures payroll accuracy, compliance with all applicable laws, and timely processing. The Payroll Manager collaborates with internal and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and efficient payroll.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Responsibilities will include: </strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Maintain accurate inventory records in Oracle WMS, ensuring timely updates for all movements and adjustments to minimize discrepancies.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Oversee and manage the full-cycle payroll process for a multi-state workforce, ensuring timely and accurate bi-weekly/semimonthly payroll processing.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Supervise and support a payroll team of two, providing mentorship, performance management, and workflow coordination.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Review and approve payroll entries, adjustments, retroactive payments, garnishments, and tax withholdings.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Ensure accurate and timely filing of payroll taxes, year-end processes including W-2s, and other statutory reporting.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Partner with HR and Finance to reconcile payroll-related accounts and support audits and month-end close processes.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Manage payroll systems and act as the point of contact for system upgrades, integrations, or vendor relationships.</span></li>
