Job Description
<p>Ensuring the HR Operations for SquareTrade in Europe are straightforward, robust and frictionless.</p><p><strong>Purpose of role</strong></p><p>● To ensure the administration of HR tasks is comprehensive and efficient</p><p>● To manage the information and reporting on the HRIS</p><p>● To build and maintain reporting on HR data & metrics</p><p>● To ensure all changes in payroll are fed through to the finance team accurately and on time</p><p>● To lead on Benefits in all Europe locations, annual reviews, communication with employees, negotiation with suppliers</p><p>● To lead on salary benchmarking in all Europe locations</p><p>● To manage the Total Reward Statement process</p><p>● To manage complex leave - eg. maternity and paternity leaves, or long term sick</p><p>● To lead on all Employee Relations scenarios (with the People Director’s support) and partner with Managers through performance plans, disciplinary procedures, redundancies, exits where needed.</p><p>● With the support of the HR Ops team, to ensure the business has comprehensive employee handbooks and  playbooks for processes in each country</p><p>● Lead on integration with Allstate as and when we align processes and platforms</p><p>● Escalation point for queries from Office Manager/People & Culture Partner</p><p><strong>Expectations</strong></p><p>● Strong relationships across the wider team</p><p>● Strong collaboration with the people team, especially the Senior HRBP (Lucy) on business partnering activities where they intersect</p><p>● Team player for multiple person projects such as onboarding, DE&I agenda</p><p>● Working time will involve 3 days per week in the office in a normal working week</p><p>● Provide support to cover other people team members when they are away (as they will do for you)</p><p>● To own the HR CPD for employment law agenda for the people team</p><p><strong>Key Deliverables</strong></p><p>● HR files are up to date and people are paid the right amounts on time</p><p>● HR processes are well developed and clear to all</p><p>● Benefits show value, are clearly explained and work well</p><p>● Employees know how to get hold of you</p><p>● Stakeholders have confidence in you</p><p>● Support from People & Culture Partner</p><p>● Support from Office Manager</p><p>● Handover and approvals from People Director</p>
<p>● CIPD Qualified </p><p>● Knowledge of UK employment law and current practice in the workplace</p><p>● Efficient administration and report building experience</p><p>● Coaching ability ● Project management skills</p><p>● Relationship building and influence</p>
