While our global headquarters is in Sydney, Australia, London is our HQ for Europe, with all kinds of teams based here, plus event spaces to gather our team and communities.</p><p>You'll experience a warm welcome from our Vibe team at front of house, amazing home cooked food from our Head Chef and a variety of workspaces to hang out with your team mates or get solo work done. That said, we trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals and so you have choice in where and how you work.</p><p>This role involves stakeholders primarily within Europe and MEA time zones, along with some in Sydney. At this stage of Canva’s growth, our focus is on establishing financial rigour and scalable systems while maintaining the agility required for rapid decision-making. We also value delivering actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and effectively shape business outcomes.</p><p>We have a strategic mindset, are apt storytellers weaving both financial and non-financial data, and have deep financial and business acumen. We leverage these skills to be the co-pilot to our Marketing and International leaders as we look towards Canva’s next phase of growth.</p><p><strong>About the role</strong></p><p>We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to build from scratch, and own FP&amp;A business partnering for the Europe and Africa regions. You will establish and lead regional financial planning, analysis, and reporting, delivering strategic insights to senior stakeholders and regional management while integrating local activities into our global FP&amp;A ecosystem. You will oversee in-market investments, have a deep understanding of the interactions between investment and ROI. You will leverage this understanding and a close partnership with the Topline Finance team and International Data to provide country leadership with a clear, nuanced understanding of their full P&amp;L.</p><p>The ideal candidate is an independent builder who thrives in ambiguity, proactively identifies opportunities, and demonstrates the initiative to solve complex problems autonomously. You possess a clear vision of best practices yet appreciate our unique journey, balancing rigor with agility to empower teams to execute swiftly and effectively. Above all, you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and dive into the details when needed.</p><p>You will initially be an individual contributor, but as you build the regional FP&amp;A function, there may be opportunities to lead and grow a direct team.</p><p><strong>What you’ll be doing in this role</strong></p><p>As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA.
