As an organization, we deliver for our customers by living our values. We operate from a place of humility, take ownership of problems and successes, approach challenges with a growth mindset, and put our customers at the center of everything we do.

Amplitude’s Commitment to Diversity Equity Inclusion (DEI): Amplitude believes that diversity enables the creation of better products, improves the ability to solve complex problems, and drives more powerful solutions. We strive to create an environment of inclusion—one focused on psychological safety, empathy, and human connection—that will allow employees of all backgrounds to thrive.

About The Role Team

Our Product Marketing team is a lean group of "humble, hungry learners" tasked with bringing Amplitude’s AI-powered innovations to market. As we rapidly expand our product suite, we are looking for a proactive intern to help us scale our impact without losing our agility.

Your central project is building Amplitude AI Labs: a new program that gives customers early, structured access to our most innovative AI capabilities, and gives our go-to-market teams a repeatable system for enabling and narrating those capabilities on an ongoing basis. You’ll work directly with Product and Engineering to define both the in-product experience and the external story—and you’ll be embedded with our EPD team in-office to make that partnership real.

As a Product Marketing Summer Intern, you will:

Stand up Amplitude's AI Labs program from scratch, defining the customer enrollment experience and in-product discovery in partnership with Product and Engineering.

Build and maintain a living AI Capabilities Catalog — the definitive positioning and narrative layer for Amplitude's AI features across Labs and GA.

Design and launch an evergreen field enablement system that keeps sales and CS current on Amplitude's AI story without relying on discrete launch events.

Own a monthly AI release narrative, synthesizing what's shipped into a coherent external story and establishing the editorial framework for an ongoing cadence.

You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:

Strong editorial instincts — the ability to read a list of shipped features and identify the two that actually change the story.

A builder's mentality — comfort standing up programs and processes that don't fully exist yet.

The ability to translate technical product capabilities into clear, compelling, human language.

An ownership orientation — you follow things through without waiting to be told what's next.

A genuine interest in working closely with engineers and PMs, not just other marketers.

Curiosity about AI — both as a product category and as a tool for doing your own work faster.

At a minimum, you need to have:

Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program (Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred).

Availability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the 12-week summer program.
