Discord is seeking a Travel Services Manager to support our employees as they travel safely and productively for work. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about corporate travel, customer experience, and building programs that scale in a growing organization. The Travel Services Manager will report to the Senior Director, Workplace. You Will: Deliver exceptional customer service to Discord travelers Champion and promote the travel program to ensure employees understand policies, processes, and available resources Develop and facilitate travel training for new hires and existing employees Evaluate and recommend appropriate levels of company investment in travel Design and evolve travel programs and policies as business needs grow Onboard and manage external vendors and partners as the program scales Maintain and regularly update travel policies Source and manage hotel room blocks for company needs Drive strong program adoption across the organization Partner with Corporate Security to support traveler safety initiatives Manage the relationship with our Travel Management Company (TMC) and Online Booking Tool (OBT) provider Participate in contract negotiations with travel service providers Collaborate closely with Finance on policy development and cost management Deliver monthly reporting to provide leadership visibility into travel spend and behavior trends Build strong cross-functional relationships with teams including Admin, Employee Experience, Finance, Corporate Security, and Procurement Provide both strategic direction and hands-on operational support as the program matures Collect and analyze data to continuously improve the travel program Measure and enhance traveler satisfaction You Have: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 7+ years of experience in corporate travel management or a related hospitality field A strong customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills Experience developing and delivering presentations and training programs A thoughtful perspective on how hybrid work has influenced corporate travel Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment Demonstrated experience managing and scaling a corporate travel program Experience negotiating travel contracts and vendor agreements Familiarity supporting employees who are newer to business travel (preferred) Experience working with modern TMC and OBT solutions A track record of driving 90%+ travel program adoption Strong analytical and reporting capabilities, including building customized metrics and generating actionable insights Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously Experience scaling travel programs in a high-growth tech company (preferred) This is a temporary W-2 position with benefits, anticipated to run for 9 months with potential to extend/convert.  Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma counties).
