About the role
As an Insurance Operations Analyst, you will serve as the critical point of contact to ensure the integrity of the member data of U.S. health insurance clients. This role is ideal for a high-ownership, solutions-oriented professional who excels at managing technical and operational escalations, swiftly navigating systems to identify root causes, and resolving customer pain points with speed and precision.
You will actively engage in cross-functional collaboration, partnering with Engineering, Product, Carrier Operations, and Client-facing teams to articulate operational perspectives, drive clarity during high-impact discussions, and deliver timely turnarounds that ensure client satisfaction. Additionally, you will play a key role in identifying systemic process gaps, partnering closely with Supervisors and the broader BenOps sub-teams to communicate insights, recommend improvements, and ensure SOPs remain accurate, scalable, and aligned with evolving client requirements.
What you will do
Act as the primary point of contact for high-priority carrier and client issues, resolving moderate to high data discrepancies with clear, defined, and professional communications.
Analyze situations or data to identify product or process gaps and proactively surfacing issues to Operations, Engineering and Product teams to prevent future errors.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams including Sales, TAMs, AMs, and Engineering to solve multifaceted operational problems.
Become a subject matter expert in everything Insurance
Execute special operational projects with minimal guidance, documenting new knowledge and sharing learnings to upskill the broader team.
Manage a sophisticated dashboard of tasks, maintaining a high standard for Salesforce case Time-to-Resolution (TTR) and data accuracy
Work with internal teams to develop new and innovative ways of confirming the enrollments that have occurred within the Rippling platform
What you will need
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3-4+ years in operations, technical account management, or consulting, ideally within a high-growth US-based SaaS or Fintech environment.
A proven ability to navigate high-pressure client scenarios with a calm, solution-focused, and professional approach.
Experience using data and standard practices to root-cause issues and determine the most effective path to resolution.
Advanced communication capabilities, adept at demystifying technical insurance language and driving informed decision-making across non-technical audiences.
Mastery of Salesforce, G-Suite, and Jira with a track record of meeting productivity targets consistently month-over-month.
Maintains a calm, structured, and solution-oriented approach during escalations, effectively coordinating with stakeholders to ensure swift turnarounds in high-pressure environments.
