Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds.
Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.4B+ from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes.

About the role
Rippling’s financial platform moves billions of dollars every month—paying employees, managing benefits, funding accounts, and powering businesses globally. You’ll partner closely with the Risk, Compliance, and Data Science teams to design and deliver tools, rules engines, and integrations that detect and prevent fraud, assess credit risk, and maintain AML compliance. This includes building out a modern infrastructure for automated underwriting, transaction monitoring, and AI/ML-driven risk evaluation across Rippling’s suite of products.
Your work will directly shape how Rippling balances rapid innovation with financial integrity—ensuring that every transaction and account on the platform is both seamless and secure.

Own the product vision and roadmap for Rippling’s risk, compliance, and underwriting decisioning systems
Design and scale internal tools and automation frameworks to support credit evaluations, fraud detection, and AML compliance, across all of Rippling’s financial products
Build a unified payments risk platform that includes case management, rules engines, transaction monitoring, and sanctions screening systems

Work closely with Risk and Compliance stakeholders and represent the user in discussions around policy implementations and regulatory frameworks
Lead data and engineering teams to improve financial integrity through better signals, models, and data pipelines
Work cross-functionally across product, finance, and operations to align risk mitigation with customer experience and product velocity
What you will need
5+ years of product management, operations, and/or founding experience
3+ years working in payments or fintech, or otherwise working in decisioning systems, data pipelines, or general platform capabilities that directly affect user experiences.
Ability to understand credit risk, fraud risk, AML policies, and financial controls

Willingness to work on multiple products and features at once, across teams
Thrives in understanding complexity and transforming it into simple user experiences
Deep technical, analytical, and problem solving skills
