Key responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Assisting the Supervisor with inventory management, including Healthsource queue oversight and handling urgent requests</li> <li>Serving as a resource for team members on medical record request processing, EMR navigation, SOPs, and workflows</li> <li>Supporting client and internal escalations with timely follow-up and clear communication</li> <li>Assisting with training and onboarding new hires, providing mentorship and guidance</li> <li>Facilitating team training and ongoing education to reinforce best practices</li> <li>Processing ROI/medical record requests accurately and confidentially</li> <li>Communicating effectively with patients, providers, and clinical staff</li> <li>Performing data entry, faxing, scanning, and other administrative tasks</li> </ul> <p><strong>⭐ What We’re Looking For</strong></p> <p>We’re seeking someone who is:</p> <ul> <li>Friendly, professional, and dependable</li> <li>Punctual and consistent — attendance is essential in this role</li> <li>Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-changing environment</li> <li>A strong verbal and written communicator</li> <li>Skilled in navigating new systems and workflows</li> <li>Experienced in leading or supporting a small team (preferred)</li> <li>Experienced with <strong>ROI or EMR systems</strong> (required)</li> <li>Excited to grow in a healthcare or medical records setting</li> </ul> <p><strong>🎓 Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED</li> <li>Ability to work on-site in Charlottesville, VA <strong>1–2 times per month (Wednesdays)</strong></li> <li>Proficiency with computers, email platforms, and general office equipment</li> <li>Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines</li> <li>Prior healthcare, medical office, or HIM experience is a plus</li> <li>Supervisory experience strongly preferred, but not required for the right candidate</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-sheets-root="1">To ensure the safety of patients and staff, many of our clients require post-offer health screenings and proof and/or completion of various vaccinations such as the flu shot, Tdap, COVID-19, etc. Any requests to be exempted from these requirements will be reviewed by Datavant Human Resources and determined on a case-by-case basis.
