You will develop motor control and actuator firmware that spans across Anduril’s fleet of autonomous vehicles on land, air, and sea. The ideal person for this role will have a blend of experience with embedded C and classical control theory (motor control) looking to leverage their passion for firmware and low-level development here at Anduril.</p> <h4>WHAT YOU'LL DO</h4> <ul> <li>Develop motion control systems for applications such as precision actuators and electric propulsion</li> <li>Develop microcontroller software using an RTOS</li> <li>Application experience in areas such as robotics, automation, motor control, and sensor fusion</li> <li>Develop reusable device drivers and application libraries</li> <li>Assist with part selection, board and product design</li> <li>Create low-level infrastructure to support safety-critical systems</li> <li>Assist with creation of SITL/HITL test fixtures and simulation environments</li> <li>Bring up new boards and toolchains</li> <li>Support device manufacturing efforts and operational deployments</li> </ul> <h4>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, etc., or equivalent experience</li> <li>Experience with low level firmware architecture, design and development in C</li> <li>Background in embedded ARM microcontrollers</li> <li>Low-level device driver development and safety critical systems experience</li> <li>Comfortable with typical embedded systems tools, compilers, debuggers and IDEs</li> <li>Broad experience with microcontrollers, application processors, revision control systems</li> <li>U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data</li> </ul> <h4>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul> <li>Familiarity with common bus protocols such as SPI, I2C, CAN, RS485, etc.</li> <li>Strong debugging skills through use of instrumentation such as oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers</li> <li>Experience with Matlab and Simulink, motor control, or controls theory</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$191,000</span><span class="divider"></span><span>$253,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
