<h3><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong></h3>
<p>Anduril is seeking a Firmware Manager to join our team based in Costa Mesa, CA. The firmware team at Anduril develops core technology used across multiple products such as Menace, Dive-XL, Ghost, and Roadrunner. We work in close coordination with Electrical Engineering to develop hardware and software solutions to some of the hardest problems facing our customers. You’ll lead a firmware team to drive low level firmware development for systems operating on land, sea, and air.<br><br></p>
<h4>WHAT YOU'LL DO</h4>
<ul>
<ul>
<li>Own and manage firmware engineering efforts across multiple programs through hands on development and applying your expertise in software best practices</li>
<li>Drive career growth, engagement and quality output of engineers on your team</li>
<li>Contribute to Firmware Engineering direction, policy and guidance</li>
<li>Develop low-level firmware/software for microcontrollers, create reusable device drivers, integrate system-level features and architect changes to support an ever-growing codebase</li>
<li>Perform code reviews and mentor/guide team members on coding standards and best practices</li>
<li>Quickly debug and troubleshoot issues that span the electrical, firmware, and software boundaries</li>
<li>Participate in hiring, group level leadership discussions and decision making</li>
</ul>

<h4>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4>
<ul>
<ul>
<li>BS or MS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent industry experience</li>
<li>Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction</li>
<li>Strong C coding ability for embedded systems</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills</li>
<li>Experience developing firmware in bare-metal or RTOS environments</li>
<li>Debugging skills with JTAG, SWD, Oscilloscopes, and Logic analyzers</li>
<li>Solid experience with common bus protocols such as USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, RS485, Ethernet, etc.</li>
<li>Experience with one or more microcontroller cores (ARM, AVR, MSP430, PIC, etc.)</li>
<li>Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities</li>
</ul>

<h4>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4>
<ul>
<ul>
<li>5 or more years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction</li>
<li>Have a bias for action. If you see a problem, you want to solve and fix it</li>
<li>Experience or familiarity with motion or power controls</li>
</ul>
