The firmware team at Anduril develops core technology used across multiple products such as as Menace, Dive-XL, Ghost, and Roadrunner. We work in close coordination with battery team to develop hardware and software solutions to some of the hardest problems facing our customers. You'll contribute low level firmware development for systems operating on land, sea, and air.</p> <h3> </h3> <div class="p-rich_text_section"><strong data-stringify-type="bold">WHAT YOU’LL DO</strong></div> <ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet p-rich_text_list--nested" data-stringify-type="unordered-list" data-list-tree="true" data-indent="0" data-border="0"> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Architect and rapidly develop robust battery management system (BMS) low-level firmware/software, to be applied across different battery packs and programs across Anduril</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Create reusable drivers to interface with BMS hardware (ex. cell monitoring units- CMUs, environmental sensors, main current path FETs or contactors, pack HV sensors, etc)</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Collaborate with Battery System Engineers and BMS Algorithm Engineers to architect and integrate BMS features or updates via C code</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Own complex firmware features of an embedded BMS</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Based on BMS/algorithm requirements- define robust and pragmatic test procedures to be executed iteratively at the model-in-loop (MIL), software-in-loop (SIL), and hardware-in-loop (HIL) levels</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Leverage automation tools in SIL, MIL, and HIL test environments over time to improve efficiency of algorithm development and deployment</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Quickly debug and troubleshoot BMS issues that span the electrical, firmware, and software boundaries</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Help select microcontrollers, select peripherals, and review schematics with electrical engineering team</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Concurrently manage involvement in multiple BMS developments at various stages</li> </ul> <div class="p-rich_text_section"><strong data-stringify-type="bold">REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></div> <ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet p-rich_text_list--nested" data-stringify-type="unordered-list" data-list-tree="true" data-indent="0" data-border="0"> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">BS or MS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent industry experience</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Strong C coding ability for embedded systems</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Demonstrated experience deploying firmware to a battery management system on multi-cell battery pack or module</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Experien ...
