About the role
The Third Party Benefits Administration (“3rd Party BenAdmin”) Integration team sits within Benefits, one of Rippling’s largest and most strategic product categories. As a member of this team, you will ensure the seamless integration of clients’ payroll data with 3rd Party Benefits Administration platforms—enabling the automated exchange of payroll deductions and demographic information across systems and eliminating hours of manual work for our customers.
You will join the team at an exciting time as we scale our platform to support hundreds of customers integrating Rippling Payroll with a growing network of Benefits Administration partners.
Rippling is seeking an Operations Analyst to manage new 3rd Party BenAdmin integration setups, resolve process and system challenges as they arise, and partner cross-functionally to identify root causes and drive sustainable fixes. This role requires close collaboration with customers, vendors, and multiple internal teams, and plays a critical role in the success and scalability of Rippling’s Integrations platform.
What you will do
Drive 3rd Party Benefits Administration (BenAdmin) integrations forward, maintaining momentum and a strong customer experience throughout the implementation lifecycle (typically 4–6 weeks)
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, and brokers, providing clear, step-by-step guidance and proactive communication
Manage complex integration issues and escalations, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to drive timely resolution
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Account Management, and other internal teams to root cause issues and align on process improvements, automation, and scalable solutions
Identify process gaps and drive operational improvements to enhance the onboarding and integration experience
Develop and maintain documentation for standard operating procedures and new integration workflows
Own productivity metrics and ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs)
What you will need
3+ years of experience in payroll and/or benefits integrations, implementations, operations, or support roles
Strong customer-facing experience, with the ability to confidently engage customers, brokers, external partners, and internal teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to explain complex concepts clearly
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership when navigating ambiguous customer requests and complex escalations
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple integrations simultaneously across varying timelines and stakeholders
Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy, with the ability to identify discrepancies and potential issues proactively
