Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our growing Accounting team. In this pivotal role, you will be fundamental to daily operations, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
The ideal candidate is a proactive individual with exceptional organizational and communication skills who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Core Responsibilities
• Accuracy & Verification: Conciliate billing with purchase orders and work orders to ensure 100% data integrity.
• Inquiry Management: Manage internal and external inquiries regarding payment status and account balances; investigate and resolve all payment discrepancies.
• Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of AP balances and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve variances.
• Month-End & Reporting: Contribute significantly to month-end close activities, including CLP (Common Level Ratio) reconciliations and providing critical AP data for financial reports.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement workflow improvements to optimize AP department efficiency.
• Training & Support: Provide training and technical support to internal teams regarding standard AP procedures and approval workflows.
• Operational Support: Execute additional tasks as assigned by management to support the evolving needs of the department.
Key Requirements
• Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience specifically within Accounts Payable.
• Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in Real Estate or Property Management is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems.
• Solid understanding of AP best practices (invoice coding, approval workflows, and payment processing).
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for vendor and internal stakeholder management.
• Adaptability: Ability to stay organized and thrive within a dynamic, high-growth work environment.
