WHAT YOU'LL DO Conduct signal-of-interest testing and configure devices as a drone expert. Demonstrate a strong passion for drones and drone technology, with in-depth knowledge of various models. Serve as the go-to expert on drone technology within the team. Perform signal characterizations, including building and recording data. Set up, execute, and analyze test experiments according to established procedures, documenting findings. Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and root cause production-related issues. Update existing test systems to enhance automation, consistency, and coverage based on engineering instructions. Maintain and calibrate electrical and mechanical test equipment. Document test plans, user instructions, and manuals. Travel to test sites and external laboratories as required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Hold FAA Part 107 certification Familiarity with Mission Planner and Q Ground Control; experience with Pixhawk or other flight controllers. Previous experience conducting signal-of-interest testing and configure devices as a drone expert. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Active engagement in the COTS DJI community. Active in the Radio Control (RC) community Proficiency in setting up and executing test experiments. Strong troubleshooting skills in a production environment. Experience with automation and updating test systems. US Salary Range $86,000 $114,000 USD The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
