We are focused on making large groups of autonomous systems work effectively together. We leverage existing Anduril drone platforms like Ghost or Altius, in addition to bringing 3rd party platforms into Anduril’s Lattice ecosystem.</p> <h3 id="IntakeSystemsEngineer(MDGroup5)-ABOUTTHEJOB"><strong>ABOUT THE JOB</strong></h3> <p>We are looking for a Staff Systems Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will be pivotal in defining and guiding the overarching systems architecture for new airborne products. You will ensure seamless integration of complex subsystems and drive the engineering process to deliver solutions that not only meet market demands but also adhere to rigorous standards of performance and safety. Your leadership and technical acumen will shape the future of our mission-critical projects, from conception through to deployment and beyond.</p> <h4 id="IntakeSystemsEngineer(MDGroup5)-WHATYOU'LLDO:"><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong>:</h4> <ul> <li data-uuid="42c2ff58-057f-4cb2-a9e8-762dd78b6160">Lead the full lifecycle of system architecture for aerospace or defense platforms, from initial conceptual layouts to final deployment and operational support, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.</li> <li data-uuid="f25ee02e-a25c-4a85-bea4-670f158f9c33">Implement MOSA and WOSA principles, utilizing open standards like STANAG to ensure system interoperability, scalability, and future technology insertion.</li> <li data-uuid="75d5848a-c418-4409-8a3e-11925416b739">Integrate system safety into the architecture, conducting safety analyses, hazard identification, and risk mitigation in compliance with MIL-STD-882 and ARP-4754 guidelines for the development and safety assessment of airborne systems.</li> <li data-uuid="ddb7d19e-2e4a-4258-ab7f-c39bf697ba4b">Develop and maintain the system architecture using established frameworks such as TOGAF and DoDAF, ensuring that system designs meet operational, safety, and technical requirements.</li> <li data-uuid="a1794461-225f-4de8-9cda-932d1e747794">Oversee the execution of rigorous Software-in-the-Loop (SITL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) testing programs for system validation and verification.</li> <li data-uuid="b2b52f11-f41d-4dab-b286-4b15277c27d5">Lead cross-functional engineering teams through system design, development, integration, and testing phases, managing both in-house and external stakeholder expectations.</li> <li data-uuid="118c2b90-e760-43d0-aaf8-8a24af8b899b">Champion the use of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and digital twin technologies for system development and lifecycle management.</li> </ul> <h4 id="IntakeSystemsEngineer(MDGroup5)-REQUIREDQUALIFICATIONS:"><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></h4> <ul> <li data-uuid="bc1642bc-575e-43f9-8e7f-692b11b2c235">The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical acumen and strategic insight, coupled with a history of managing intricate aerospace endeavors.
