<p><strong>The opportunity</strong><br>Join us in building the future of transparency for Unity's developer ecosystem. We're building Core Standards – a groundbreaking initiative that will transform how developers trust, manage, and integrate third-party tools in the Unity ecosystem. As part of this initiative, you will be responsible for leading the definition and implementation of nutrition labels for Unity packages. You'll work directly with game developers, platform partners like Apple and Google, and multi-functional teams across Unity to help developers make informed decisions about the packages they integrate. This is your chance to shape how thousands of developers understand the impact of third-party packages on user experience, data privacy, and app performance. We want you to be the voice of our developer community, translating their needs into actionable standards that build trust and transparency across our ecosystem.</p>
<p><strong>What you'll be doing</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Gather feedback and build consensus across the gaming industry to establish standards that influence how developers build their games</li>
<li>Define nutrition label standards for Unity packages through extensive user research with game developers, platform partners, and key decision makers</li>
<li>Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to compute and present nutrition labels</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What we're looking for</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven track record building, managing, or nurturing developer ecosystems in a centralized role</li>
<li>Experience gathering industry feedback and driving consensus across diverse groups</li>
<li>Background in gaming or game development ecosystems</li>
<li>Effective written and verbal communication abilities to engage with technical and non-technical audiences</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>You might also have</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience working with platform partners (such as Apple, Google, or other app stores) on compliance, standards, or developer-facing initiatives</li>
<li>Background in privacy, data governance, or security standards that would inform your understanding of package transparency requirements</li>
</ul>
