This internship offers hands-on experience supporting day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-paced, high-growth technology company.</p> <p>You’ll gain exposure to core accounting processes, financial reporting, systems, and cross-functional collaboration. This is an opportunity to build foundational accounting skills while learning how a public technology company operates.</p> <h3><strong>Examples of Things You’ll Do</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Assist with monthly close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations<br><br></li> <li>Support preparation of financial reports and variance analysis<br><br></li> <li>Help maintain documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls (SOX, if applicable)<br><br></li> <li>Partner with cross-functional teams (FPA, Revenue Operations, Legal, etc.) to gather financial data<br><br></li> <li>Support internal and external audit processes, including preparation of supporting documentation and fulfillment of audit requests <br><br></li> <li>Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives<br><br></li> <li>Support ad hoc projects and financial analyses<br><br></li> </ul> <h3><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting</li> </ul> <h3><strong> </strong></h3> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals (GAAP knowledge a plus)<br><br></li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) is a plus<br><br></li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills<br><br></li> <li>High attention to detail and organizational skills<br><br></li> <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment<br><br></li> <li>Strong communication and collaboration skills</li> </ul> <p data-pm-slice="1 1 []"><strong>AI at Toast</strong></p> <p>At Toast, one of our company values is that we're hungry to build and learn.
