<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">CarGurus is seeking an Associate Corporate Counsel to join our Legal team and support a dynamic, fast-growing technology company. This role will focus primarily on labor employment matters, while also contributing to litigation and claims management as well as broader regulatory compliance efforts. </span></p>

You will play a meaningful role in supporting our People Talent organization and helping CarGurus navigate an evolving legal landscape with confidence and integrity.<br><br></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What you'll do</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Provide day-to-day legal advice on labor employment matters, including hiring, discipline, performance management, terminations, leaves of absence, accommodations, and employee relations issues.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Advise on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (e.g., wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, leave laws).</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Deliver clear, practical, and timely legal advice to senior leaders within the People Talent organization, demonstrating sound judgment, confidence, and the ability to translate complex legal concepts into actionable business guidance.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Draft, review, and update employment-related documents, including offer letters, employment agreements, separation agreements, policies, and handbooks.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Partner closely with the People Talent team on investigations, policy interpretation, and risk mitigation.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Support employment-related aspects of corporate initiatives, including reorganizations and MA activity.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Monitor legal developments and help implement practical compliance strategies and training.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strategic management of employment and commercial litigation, including coordinating with outside counsel.</span></li>
