This position requires the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining strict confidentiality standards.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>💼 Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Process Release of Information (ROI) requests accurately and efficiently</li> <li>Retrieve and compile medical records from EMR systems</li> <li>Assist patients in person with obtaining medical records</li> <li>Float between supported facilities to ensure consistent coverage</li> <li>Ensure HIPAA compliance when handling all protected health information</li> <li>Pull and generate reports as needed</li> <li>Answer inbound calls and respond to record inquiries</li> <li>Perform administrative functions related to ROI processing</li> <li>Maintain organized documentation and tracking of requests</li> <li>Communicate effectively with healthcare staff, patients, and requestors</li> <li>Maintain productivity and quality standards</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>🎓 Training Onboarding</strong></p> <ul> <li>Datavant DHISC training<br>• Hands-on, role-specific training during the first 30 days</li> </ul> <p><strong>🧠 Preferred Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong communication skills<br>• Understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy regulations<br>• Computer proficiency and data entry accuracy<br>• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment</li> </ul> <p><strong>🎯 Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED<br>• Must be 18 years of age or older<br>• Computer proficiency and data entry accuracy<br>• Strong customer service skill</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-sheets-root="1">To ensure the safety of patients and staff, many of our clients require post-offer health screenings and proof and/or completion of various vaccinations such as the flu shot, Tdap, COVID-19, etc. Any requests to be exempted from these requirements will be reviewed by Datavant Human Resources and determined on a case-by-case basis.
