Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.</p></div><h1><strong>Job Description</strong></h1> <h2><strong>About the Role</strong></h2> <p>As the Private Equity Partnerships Manager at Anthropic, you will own day-to-day relationships with top-tier PE sponsors and drive Claude adoption across their portfolio companies. You’ll operate at the intersection of private equity, AI technology, and enterprise transformation—structuring partnership terms, managing FDE deployments at portfolio companies, and ensuring Claude products and AI agent engagements deliver measurable value.</p> <p>This role requires someone who is fluent in PE sponsor economics, comfortable navigating multi-stakeholder environments, and capable of managing complex deal cycles from term sheet through operational execution. You’ll work closely with the Head of Private Equity to shape strategy while owning execution across multiple sponsor relationships simultaneously.</p> <p>Your success will be measured by your ability to activate partnerships into live deployments and hit revenue milestones across your assigned sponsors. You’ll be a critical contributor to Anthropic’s initiative to support the massive opportunity in PE-backed mid-market enterprises. </p> <h2><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h2> <h3><strong>Partnership Execution Deal Management</strong></h3> <p>Own the structuring, negotiation, and execution of PE partnership agreements across multiple engagement models. Draft and iterate on term sheets, revenue commitments, preferred partner status, and engagement economics. Manage deal cycles through internal approvals (Legal, Finance) and external stakeholder sign-off (GP leadership, operating partners, portfolio company CEOs).</p> <h3><strong>Sponsor Relationship Management</strong></h3> <p>Serve as Anthropic’s primary day-to-day point of contact for multiple PE sponsors. Build deep relationships with operating partners, deal teams, and portfolio company leadership. Run recurring cadences (QBRs, pipeline reviews, executive check-ins) to maintain momentum and surface new deployment opportunities.</p> <h3><strong>Portfolio Company Activation Deployment Oversight</strong></h3> <p>Drive portfolio company activation by identifying high-value use cases, supporting engagement scoping, and overseeing deployment cycles. Coordinate with FDEs, product, and research to ensure engagements hit quality and timeline gates. Track deployment metrics and communicate progress to sponsor stakeholders.</p> <h3><strong>Revenue Pipeline Development</strong></h3> <p>Own pipeline development and revenue targets for assigned sponsors. Build and maintain a rolling forecast of deployment opportunities across portfolio companies. Drive upsell and expansion within activated accounts. </p> <h3><strong>Cross-Functional Coordination</strong></h3> <p>Partner with Legal, Finance, Research, Product, and the broader Sales organization to move deals forward and ensure deployment learnings feed back into Anthropic’s product roadmap.
