The position offers flexibility, with hybrid working available. While some remote clinical appointments and home working can be accommodated where appropriate, there will be a significant proportion of face-to-face visits with clients in their own homes across Sheffield.</p> <p data-start="953" data-end="1148">This is an excellent opportunity for a Band 6 or Band 7 therapist looking to further develop their expertise in community neuro rehabilitation within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.</p> <hr data-start="1150" data-end="1153"> <h2 data-start="1155" data-end="1180">Key Responsibilities</h2> <p data-start="1182" data-end="1207">In this role, you will:</p> <ul data-start="1209" data-end="1877"> <li data-start="1209" data-end="1326"> <p data-start="1211" data-end="1326">Assess, diagnose, and manage adults with acquired neurological conditions affecting communication and swallowing.</p> </li> <li data-start="1327" data-end="1430"> <p data-start="1329" data-end="1430">Deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to individual client needs within community settings.</p> </li> <li data-start="1431" data-end="1546"> <p data-start="1433" data-end="1546">Provide therapy in clients’ homes across Sheffield, alongside remote appointments where clinically appropriate.</p> </li> <li data-start="1547" data-end="1673"> <p data-start="1549" data-end="1673">Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to holistic care planning and rehabilitation goals.</p> </li> <li data-start="1674" data-end="1779"> <p data-start="1676" data-end="1779">Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical records in line with HCPC and service standards.</p> </li> <li data-start="1780" data-end="1877"> <p data-start="1782" data-end="1877">Offer advice, education, and support to families, carers, and other healthcare professionals.</p> </li> </ul> <hr data-start="1879" data-end="1882"> <h2 data-start="1884" data-end="1918">Qualifications and Experience</h2> <p data-start="1920" data-end="1968">To be considered for this role, you must have:</p> <ul data-start="1970" data-end="2303"> <li data-start="1970" data-end="2041"> <p data-start="1972" data-end="2041">A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).</p> </li> <li data-start="2042" data-end="2093"> <p data-start="2044" data-end="2093">Current HCPC registration and RCSLT membership.</p> </li> <li data-start="2094" data-end="2191"> <p data-start="2096" data-end="2191">Experience working with adults with neurological conditions (community experience desirable).</p> </li> <li data-start="2192" data-end="2229"> <p data-start="2194" data-end="2229">Competency in managing dysphagia.</p> </li> <li data-start="2230" data-end="2303"> <p data-start="2232 ...
