<p><strong><u>About the role:</u></strong></p>
<p>The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Invasive Cardiac Physiologist to join our dynamic team in Ashton-under-Lyne. This is a Band 7 position, offering a competitive hourly rate of £40 - £50. The role is available on both a full-time and part-time basis, starting from 19th August 2024, for a duration of 2 weeks.</p>
<p><strong><u>Duties and Responsibilities:</u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Perform and assist in invasive cardiac procedures, including angiograms, pacemaker insertions, and electrophysiology studies.</li>
<li>Monitor patients’ vital signs and cardiac activity during procedures.</li>
<li>Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.</li>
<li>Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><u>Qualifications and Experience:</u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Essential:</strong>
<ul>
<li>IBHRE / BHRS accreditation (desirable).</li>
<li>Relevant qualifications and registration as a Cardiac Physiologist.</li>
<li>Proven experience as an Invasive Cardiac Physiologist.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li><strong>Desirable:</strong>
<ul>
<li>Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.</li>
<li>Experience in invasive cardiac procedures.</li>
<li>Strong communication and teamwork skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.</li>
</ul>
