This role involves providing clinical cover for general and cardio thoracic critical care units, as well as input across various acute hospital wards, including general and specialist medicine, general surgery, and front door services. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the adult acute setting and possess highly specialist skills in managing dysphagia and communication impairments.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></span><br>As a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will autonomously manage a caseload, providing expert assessment and intervention for patients with dysphagia and communication impairments. You will work across general and cardio thoracic critical care units, as well as acute hospital wards, delivering high-quality care and support. Your role will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to patient care plans, and ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
