<h4><strong>Join Our Team as a Clinical Psychologist – Learning Disabilities</strong></h4>
<p>Are you a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference? We are recruiting for a Band 7 Clinical Psychologist to join our client's specialist Learning Disabilities service. While prior experience in Learning Disabilities is a bonus, it’s not essential – we welcome applications from psychologists with a strong foundation in clinical practice and a passion for person-centred care.</p>
<p>This role offers the opportunity to work across diverse settings, including community and inpatient environments, delivering evidence-based interventions and assessments. You’ll be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team committed to improving outcomes for individuals with complex needs.</p>
<h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<p>In this role, you will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Provide specialist psychological assessments, including psychometrics and cognitive evaluations.</li>
<li>Deliver tailored interventions using a range of psychological models and approaches.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with service users, families, and professionals to develop care plans.</li>
<li>Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.</li>
<li>Offer consultation and advice to colleagues across the service.</li>

<h3><strong>Qualifications Experience</strong></h3>
<p>Essential:</p>
<ul>
<li>HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist</li>
<li>Doctoral-level training in Clinical Psychology (BPS-accredited)</li>
<li>Knowledge of psychometrics and cognitive assessments</li>
<li>Experience working across the lifespan in core specialties</li>
</ul>
<p>Desirable:</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience with Learning Disabilities</li>
<li>Training in research methodology or staff training</li>
<li>Experience in teaching, supervision, or working in diverse cultural contexts</li>
</ul>
